Chiropractic Care

We utilize hands-on spinal adjustments, using primarily Diversified technique and a few others to help restore proper skeletal alignment in your body. Chiropractic adjustments aid with any joint dysfunction in the spine and extremities to ensure proper biomechanics. This can relieve pain and increase mobility throughout the body.

When the body is organized well and in proper alignment, we have the best opportunity to move optimally and function at the highest level.

IASTM (Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization), also known as Graston Technique, is a treatment of soft-tissue utilizing a stainless steel tool that helps aid in detecting and treating abnormal ‘scarring’ or fibrosis in fascial and muscle tissue. The treatment helps reduce the fibrosis in the tissue and helps restore normal range of motion and  proper function in the affected area.

Cupping is an alternative therapy to help ease pain. Cups are placed on the skin, creating a ‘suction’ or vacuum effect to decompress the affected skin and fascial tissue. This decompressive effect helps improve tissue mobility, increases blood flow, and helps modulate pain in the affected area.

Soft Tissue Therapy

Often considered the gold-standard for soft-tissue care. ART (Active Release Technique) is a diagnostic and treatment method for detecting abnormalities in the texture, tension, or movement of any muscle, tendon, ligament, or other soft-tissue structures. Once the root cause has been determined, the doctor uses precise touch and tension with specific patient motions to help improve “slide and glide” between soft tissue structure and restore proper movement and function.

ART can drastically decrease stress on joints, decrease muscle and joint pain, and remove trigger points and muscular tightness/stiffness.

Kinesio Taping

Kinesiotape is a form of athletic taping that provides stability and support for joints and muscles without limiting the circulation or range of motion to the area. Traditional athletic taping methods use tape to wrap tightly around joints to provide stability and support, but limiting blood flow and lymphatics in that region-an undesirable side effect.

Dry Needling

Dry Needling is a technique that is utilized to help desensitize painful and sensitive tissues in your body such as an inflamed muscle or nerve by placing a microfilament needle into the target area. When the needle creates the lesion in the target tissue, it triggers one's natural inflammatory reaction to promote local healing in the treatment area. Due to dry needling's ability to access deeper tissue layers than any other massage tool while working in harmony with one's natural healing mechanism, it can be one of the quickest tools to help relieve pain.

Golf Performance

Our doctor is Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified and specializes in golf performance by assessing and treating what may be hindering your game or causing unnecessary pain.

TPI is the world leader in education on how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing.

TPI Assessments can be performed on patients who have golf injuries or players who want to make improvements to their game. The TPI screen is designed to gather information and data on one’s swing mechanics, biomechanics related to the golf swing, physical fitness level, movement quality, their current state of health and golf game, as well as medical and golf history.

Once the data is collected from the screen, a unique and individualized plan is created that includes a combination of therapy, fitness training, golf swing mechanics coaching, nutrition, mental training, or all of the above to help the player reach their goal.

The philosophy of TPI is there isn’t one way to swing the club, rather there is an infinite number of ways to swing the golf club. But there is a ‘most efficient’ way for each player to swing the golf club and that is based on what the player can physically do.
